  17. Nothing spectacular, pretty much just a year's worth of accumulated
  18. bug fixes plus a couple minor feature additions, and support for a few
  19. new platorms, most notably VMS 8.1 on IA64, FreeBSD 5.1, Mac OS X 10.3.

  23.  . INPUT /NOMATCH <timeout>
  24.    (waits for the entire interval without trying to match anything;
  25.    useful for scripted logging).

  27.  . SET INPUT SCALE-FACTOR (lets you scale INPUT timeouts).

  29.  . FREAD /TRIM and FREAD /UNTABIFY.

  31.  . ASK[Q] and GETOK /DEFAULT:text (lets you supply default answer).

  33.  . \funtabify(string).
  34.  
  35.  . ON_CD macro (if you define one, it executes automatically whenever
  36.    you tell Kermit to change directories).

  38. Since there has been no major surgery, this should be a pretty stable
  39. release.  I deferred any changes that could wreck stability until after
  40. getting this one out.  These might include:

  42.  . Support for file sizes greater than 2GB.
  43.  
  44.  . Support timeouts on the FTP data connection and an option for
  45.    syslogging of FTP data transfers.
  46.  
  47.  . IPv6.
